Happy Sunday Everyone!
It is a tradition in our house to enjoy pancakes on Sundays.
With Thanksgiving just a few days away we thought we would get creative and make "Holiday Protein Pancakes".
Here is the recipe (we suggest organic ingredients):
1/4 cup Applesauce, 1/4 cup baby food Carrots (label reads water and carrots), 1/4 cup Orange Juice, 4 egg whites, 2 Raw Apples peeled and diced, 2 mashed Bananas, 1-2 TB Cinnamon, 1/8 cup Brown Sugar, 1 1/2 cups Flour. Mix all wet ingredients well then add in dry ingredients. Pour 1/4 cup of batter into hot skillet that is greased with real butter or grape seed oil.
We serve these heavy pancakes piping hot with raw honey or pure maple syrup.
